A Little bit about us.
Our Story
How We Got Started
As a 6th generation farmer, farming has always been in Easton's blood and a long time dream. In 2012 Easton planted 10 acres of olive trees in Americus, GA on the same land where his Great-Granddaddy used to grow peaches and then in the 40's his Granddad converted the Peaches to row crops. Two years later, he planted 10 more acres of baby olive trees. He grows 3 varieties of olives:
90% Arbequina, 5% Koroneiki, and 5% Arbosana. Olives are self fertile but having the different varieties improves pollination. The very first New Era Olive Farm harvest was in 2016 and was a huge success. Due to all of the overwhelming feedback from our community and surrounding areas, this little olive project has turned into a thriving family business. While Easton tends to the olives his wife, Stephanie, takes care of the sales and marketing, and even their twins, Amelia and Kinney, are always eager to help with bottling, labeling, delivering, and helping at festivals.
